Pumpkin Carving Competition

Well done Neasham!! You did even better than last year with 19 households taking part in the event on Saturday 26th October. We had a large contingent of residents and their families joining the walk around the village. Most joined us afterwards in the Fox and Hounds for the judging and the Halloween quiz, with our most accommodating pub landlord, Alex providing some very tasty and warming pumpkin soup.
The artistry and creativity was amazing with everything from cute to quirky to very, very scary. In fact the entries were much more than pumpkin carving ...it was pumpkin art of the very finest!  Many thanks and well done to all those who took part and to Helen Crute, our official photographer.

The winners were:-
1st Prize Steve and Ali George, New Lane with the Wizard of Oz

2nd Prize  Alex and Kirsty from the Fox and Hounds with Isla's 1st Halloween and the The Tinkerbell Fairy

Joint 3rd Prize Linda Riddle with the Fairy Pumpkin Coach and Chloe James with the Pumpkin Snail  - Teesway
